Yesterday I rented a car from College Station airport and drove home arriving around 5 p.m. Had a hankering for steak dinner so I invited my good friend Ron for supper at Outback … yum!!!
Today, got up, went to work, got my 1st covid shot in Arlington over lunch hour, back to finish work day and then got home around 5:30 p.m.
Bought some Enchiladas Ole for dinner with my wife. Finished up work tasks that evening setting my aHlarm for 3:30 a.m.
Just a note about hydration. When I arrived in Fort Worth, I had lost about 8 lbs in the past 4 days. My thoughts were that I was sweating out salts … as personally I don’t add salt to any of my meals. In addition to being light headed occasionally. I purchase gator aid this morning and was sipping it most the day. Low and behold the lightheadedness disappeared and I gained the 8 lbs back. Of course it could have been the Enchiladas 🙂 Lesson learned. Add gator aid (re potassium) to my diet during this trip.
Now the next issue: How do I get back for my 2nd shot? I’ll be working on that for the next 2 weeks.
On another note. I’ve had zero symptoms from the Covid shot. Any soreness I was having was from my bike riding and that soreness was way far different parts of the body.
